Hi Readers.
It has been a while since I have blogged, and that is because I have found another hobby to add to the list of Cross Stitch, Blackwork, Kumihumo and Weaving. I have found Tatting.
It is an early form of lace work, and I find it so relaxing.
After chatting to Jane Eborall, (who has a website full of free designs that got me inspired before I had even picked up a shuttle) she has encouraged me to blog my progress.
Over the next few weeks I'll be posting pictures of my progress. (Once I have got some batteries for my digital camera).
I have been using Anchor Pearl Cotton 5, and now, because I have ran out of the 10g ball I purchased, I am playing about with 3 strands of 6 stranded embroidery floss. Apparently this is the equivalent of a size 20. I am using the floss to gauge whether I like using such I small gauge. Only time will tell. I have just loaded up my shuttle and I am ready to go!

Welcome
Hi There, Welcome to my blog.
Over the next few months I will be posting tutorials on how I have made a few of my favourate stitch essentials.
The tutorial I am currently working on is for a 15 sided Biscornu. All the tutorials I have found have not been in english. As I work well from pictures I am writing a tutorial as I make my first attempt.
My next post will be about my sewing box. I have a few time saving tips and storage tips that I would like to share.
